Starburst Fireworks Ltd was formed in 2004 after many years of hobby fireworks and firing displays fro other companies.

We also run a successful retail outlet supplying retail fireworks to the public via our online firework shop and from our year-round shop. We buy from some of the major manufacturers in the UK market and offer a wide selection of products at competitive prices. Our enthusiasm and expertise in the retail sector offers us a regular stream of customers who trust us on our products and advice for their own firework displays. We advise on products, effects and the safety aspect of all things fireworks related.

In 2005 we were tasked by Wakefield's Lord Mayor, to provide a display for their Gala ball, due to the safety distances we provided a 10 minute display of retail fireworks which went down really well. This led us to set up our own display company. Over the next few years we have grown steadily and invested in equipment including electronic firing systems allowing us to be in total control of the timings of a display.

Our enthusiasm for our retail side is carried over to the display side, if not more so as we get to design some fantastic displays and fire them as opposed to just sell them.

We carry full insurance, including public, employer and products liability as most venues are not covered for firework displays and as such it is a requirement of a display company to be independently insured.

The above display was fired for a company party. The location was fantastic, Elvington Air Museum near York. The video was filmed from about 600mtrs away so it looks a bit distant, but a good tiume was had by all, including us.
